Bridging the Gaps Left by Traditional Identity Providers
Credenti was founded with a clear purpose: to close the critical gaps left by Identity Providers (IdPs) in delivering passwordless and multi-factor authentication (MFA) where it matters most — at the desktop level.
While modern IdPs promised passwordless login, their capabilities stopped at the browser. Desktop logins for Windows, macOS, and Linux remained reliant on legacy credentials — creating a fragmented and insecure user experience.
Disconnected environments and legacy applications were left out of the passwordless promise. Organizations had to maintain multiple authentication methods, undermining zero trust initiatives and increasing operational overhead.
Credenti changed that. With deep expertise in cybersecurity and IAM, we built a platform that integrates with existing IdPs to deliver unified, passwordless access across operating systems, disconnected environments, and modern identity methods like FIDO2/Passkeys, RFID, CAC/PIV-I smart cards, and mobile biometrics — fulfilling the promise of secure, modern identity.

The Evolution of Credenti
Credenti was born from a decade of frontline cybersecurity experience. Originally established as the specialized security product division of Tecnics, our team spent years building world-class identity solutions for a global client base.
In 2026, we transitioned into a standalone entity to provide a sharper focus on security innovation. While our ownership and leadership remain the same, this move allows us to reinvest 100% of our resources back into our products, ensuring our tools remain at the cutting edge of SOC 2 standards.
Tecnics was established, laying the foundation for excellence in technology services and enterprise solutions.
A dedicated cybersecurity division was formed with a special focus on building a Center of Excellence around Okta services, and extending the Okta platform to address gaps in delivering passwordless and multi-factor authentication (MFA) at the desktop level.
We launched the first version of Desktop MFA and Self-Service Password Recovery to extend Okta MFA factors at the desktop level.
We launched the first version of Tap and Go (ID badge based access) for frontline workers to access shared machines and legacy/disconnected apps.
Credenti was established as a subsidiary of Tecnics to incubate our security software.

Recognizing a critical market gap, we introduced robust support for Mac environments, a significant innovation that extended our advanced identity and access management capabilities to a platform often underserved by enterprise security vendors.
